Ridgeback Network Security
Web Lateral Movement is the way Attackers gain control over IT resources to cause harm. Our client has designed a high end Cyber Security product, Ridgeback, potentially the most effective tool to disrupt the attack lifecycle before Lateral Movement occurs. The need was to design a simplify a complex web interface in an intuitive and easy to use manner. The challenge for us was to understand the product from the point of view of the Security teams working within enterprises. We conducted multiple rounds of interviews with the product owners and came up with a user flow and information architecture. This formed the basis of starting with the iterative process of delivering low fidelity wireframes. Once the low fidelity were in the right direction we proceeded towards converting them to high fidelity designs which contained many unique UI components. A design system was set in place for scalability as the product would evolve in the future. The project was a resounding success and the client was more than satisfied with the outcome.
